Privacy Policy

The short version: R1 VOUCH works without an account and keeps your learning progress on your own device. If you choose to sign in, we store only what we need to sync your progress and points: your email address, the name your sign-in provider shares, and your in-app progress. We never pull your credit report, never sell your data, and never show you ads.

Who we are

R1 VOUCH is operated by AKA IND Technologies Inc., Ottawa, Ontario, Canada ("we", "us"). Questions about this policy: [email protected].

What we collect

Without an account: nothing leaves your device. Your progress, streaks, badges and the numbers you enter into the calculators are stored in your browser's local storage on your phone or computer.
If you sign in (email magic link, Google, Facebook or Apple): your email address, the display name your sign-in provider shares with us, and a unique account ID.
Synced progress: your lesson progress, points earned, and reward codes you redeem, so they follow you across devices.
Technical data: our hosting and authentication providers keep standard server logs (such as IP address and timestamps) for security and reliability.

We do not collect your credit report, credit score, bank or card account numbers, or your contacts, photos or friends list. Numbers you type into the calculators stay on your device.

How we use it

To sign you in and keep your progress and points in sync.
To prevent abuse of points and rewards.
To reply when you contact us.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Sign in with Google, Facebook or Apple

When you sign in with one of these providers, they share your name and email address with us, subject to your permission on their consent screen. We request only basic profile and email access. We do not post on your behalf or read your friends, posts or photos.

Where it's stored and who processes it

Account data is stored with Supabase in its Canada (Central) region. The site is hosted by Cloudflare. These service providers process data on our behalf only to run the service. Sign-in providers (Google, Meta, Apple) handle your login under their own privacy policies.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data while your account is active. If you ask us to delete it, we delete it within 30 days, except where we are required by law to keep something.

Your choices and rights

You can use R1 VOUCH without an account. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information at any time. See how to delete your data. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Children

R1 VOUCH is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
